Hotmail: Hotmail has "Safe sender option" wherein you can add list of email id's and domain names from where you don't want to receive mails.

Gmail: Gmail provides key icon next to authenticated mails to help you identify the mails which are important. This feature has to be activated from Google labs.
Follow the steps :

• Follow the Settings link in Gmail.
• Go to the Labs tab.
• Make sure Enable is selected for Authentication icon for verified senders.
• Click Save Changes.

MS Outlook : Outlook has preloaded junk mail filter which is set to LOW by default. All you have to do is to change this to High depending on your need.
